The Need
Further to a leak from within the loft area of the property, Asbestos textured coating to the ceilings on the ground and first floor were damaged with some areas collapsing and causing gross contamination to the area
The solution
Works were required to decontaminate or remove all items within the affected areas and remove all asbestos that was present. This would then be proceeded by a full decontamination.
The Benefit
The solution allowed for the safe handover of the property to the client to allow the property to be reinstated leaving the tenants to continue their standard operations

Asbestos Removal – Loss and Recovery
Scope of Works
One Group Solutions were engaged by our client who acts on behalf of a major insurance provider following emergencies and accidents. After an initial investigation it was clear that Asbestos was present so One Group Solutions were brought in to provide a package for site clearance, asbestos removal and decontamination.
Time constraints
Due to the need for swiftness in getting the site to a point where the tenants’ operations could continue, One Group Solutions needed to advance the works as quickly as possible this job was passed to the rapid response department to mobilize immediately and issued a programme which would exceed the expectations of our client.
We worked with the client and tenant to ensure that we provided a service that would satisfy all parties. All of the tenant’s items were inside of the property so extra time was taken to decontaminate any items that could safely be returned to the tenant.
works were carried out to the property including removal of all ceilings throughout and floor coverings followed by a full decontamination of the surfaces with an intensive air monitoring regime to ensure the property was handed back in a clean and safe condition.
Works were completed ahead of programme.
